Skrib

Working in the studio

Tabs, pins, split screen, full screen

Project tabs

Every open project is a tab across the top, next to Home. Click between them freely: each project keeps its own active draft, scroll position, and canvas view. Close a tab and nothing is lost; the project is still on Home.

Pinned tabs

Pin a Note (or a file tile) on the Plan and it becomes a tab inside the project, next to Draft and Plan. The outline, the character sheet, the research PDF: one click from anywhere in the project. Unpin from the same icon.

Split screen

The split icon at the top right opens a second pane. Each pane is a complete Skrib view with its own surface tabs, tools, status bar, and zoom: two drafts side by side, a Draft next to its Plan, or two different projects. A swap control trades the sides; a minimize control closes a pane. The layout lives in the page address, so it survives reloads.

Full screen

The icon at the bottom right hides everything but the page. The cleanest writing surface Skrib offers. Esc brings the studio back.
